COMMITTEE DISCUSSION:

• Rammies
• The Rammies were supposed to be tonight, but they were postponed
• Brittany had meeting with Bruce Hamilton earlier this morning and he suggested postponing the Rammies to early next semester due to the lack of voter turnout
• We really want the quality of the Rammie to mean something to the student body, also April is a hectic month for students so the turn out in attendance may not be what we would like to see
• Pushing the event to early next semester could be a good thing
  • New students can attend and take interest in groups that are preforming and groups that win Rammies
  • This could be a good recruitment for organizations
  • Kim also suggested maybe holding the Rammies on the night of a President’s meeting
• Rammies for 2013 maybe in March
  • Would we have two Rammies Award Ceremonies? – something to think about
• New Cultural Chair
• Ferreira received an email early last week confirming her acceptance to the School of Medical Technology for next year- a 40 hour/wk internship that will prevent her from remaining on Senate
• Anyone interested in Chair position would have to get nominated at this Wednesday night’s meeting
  • Cicero interested
• Fireworks for Homecoming
• Alumni Association has been emailing Ferreira about funding for fireworks
• Meeting- May 11th to discuss Homecoming in general, including fireworks- need a rep- Cicero
  • Meeting will be located in the Alumni Center conference room at 1pm
• Ferreira will email exec. to gather opinions
• Fireworks will be discussed with Finance and exec next week
