COMMITTEE DISCUSSION:
Outing Club – Requesting $15 for Gear forms
- Carbon Copy forms for recording people borrowing
- $25 to get 100 forms ($10 in the budget already)
- Requires committee approval because it is a general improvement grant
- Passed : 7-0-0
SAWA – World AIDS Week – $485
- Awareness for HIV and AIDS awareness
- Money for Ribbons à Fabric to tie around trees
- DJ – $50/hr = $150
- Most DJs cost $300 to $400 for a 4 hour set
o This is Cheap!
- Speaker from Planned Parenthood for $75
- Banner is $200 and reusable but last year’s has been stolen
- It’s been stolen 3 years in a row
- Last Year’s Banner Said “We all have AIDS, if one of us does”
o People stole it since it was controversial
- This year it’s flipped.
- Candles are not required since Senate has a whole ton
- Chairwoman Stewart will sign after Senator Sit gets the President of SAWA’s signature at the President’s Meeting

GSA & Uhuru SASA Halloween Dance Party
- Reports came in saying the Halloween Party was awesome
- President Dooley even replied with congratulations
Budget Timeline is made
- The budgets are due February 3rd
- Review of Requests are February 5th and 12th
- February 4th and 11th will be going over it in committee
- February 4th is President’s meeting
- Penalties will be in effect after February 6th
- Will have warning at the President’s meetings 2 days before the deadline.
- February 11th and 18th maybe relatively lengthy meetings
- Bill goes on the floor on the February 27th and goes to vote on March 6th
- Annual Meeting is March 27th
- The annual meeting and the budget meeting are not on the same night

- She’s not far – just in Bruce’s Office but she doesn’t work for us anymore
