• Magnets
  • Successful past so far but there are 250+ magnets left
  • Ideas for distribution
    • Pass them out to off-campus students at elections booth? Commuter lounge? RIPTA bus stops: if each committee member can take some and distribute
  • Social Change Ideas
    • Against Substance abuse or Drunk Driving
    • President Rode would like this committee to get off campus students involved in this movement and to participate in a Narragansett service this upcoming year.
      • Come to committee next week with ideas
      • Duffy: Idea for a shuttle that goes around Narragansett for students. Tickets to validate students, Uber coupons to give out, etc.

 

• Good Five Cent Cigar
  • Chairwoman Montecalvo was interviewed today by the Cigar about Narragansett

  • Chairwoman Montecalvo will distribute a town council member to each committee member to introduce or touch basis with.
  • Forum ideas?
  • Bailey: Look into seeing if students can vote in the town of Narragansett
    • Town Council
    • Do the amount of students outweigh the number of residents?
