- Attendance was above average (high 70s low 80s)
- More than just students turned out; landlord, dining services worker
- For next year: we need “grabbers” to retrieve trash stuck in brambles
- Voter Registration booth (tomorrow, 4/28)
- booth #3 from 9am-1pm in the union
- Donnelly is setting it up
- Unrelated Persons Ordinance – final vote 5/2
- Chairman reached out to various RI student governments to see what their opinions/plans of action are
- For next year
- Narragansett clean up in the fall (end of Sept?) – improve relations with landlords, improve community
- make a flyer to invite landlords to participate
- Commuter Appreciation Event – possible funding from Joe Barardi
- Commuter Housing Office and Senate team up to do this
- We need to give out more magnets
- Give magnets to landlord companies to include in info packets to renters
- Stress civic engagement and hold more voter registration booths
- Include info on absentee ballots
- Possibly have Jack Reed speak about the importance of civic engagement
- Narragansett clean up in the fall (end of Sept?) – improve relations with landlords, improve community
