• Library Hours Workshop
  • Our current library hours:
    • Weekdays: 7:30AM-12:00PM
    • Fridays: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
    • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 8:00PM
    • Sunday: 1:00PM- 12:00AM
  • Most schools have more than one libraries. Brown University has 8 Libraries
  • Plan is to send a memo to Dean Karim Boughida with our recommendations:
    • Extend Library hours 2 weeks before finals
    • Increase the 24 hour room to the entire first floor or more during finals and reading days
    • Earlier opening times on weekends for the library
  • Our Questions:
    • Can the library afford staffing people overnight for a few days?
    • How many students can the library seat? Per floor? What is capacity?
    • What alternative spaces could be open to students near finals week?
