  1. URI NAMI
  • Required documentation of their recognition under the URI Student Senate to be recognized under their national organization
    • Write letter for NAMI
    • Provide copy of the recognition of bill to the group
    • Provide screenshot of master list of recognized groups to the group
      • Send all this to the group email at urimentalhealthclub@gmail.com
    • Change name of group from National Alliance on Mental Illness to the National Alliance on Mental Illness on Campus.
      • Vote: (7-0-0)
      • Need to put bill on the General Senate floor Wednesday (prefer immediate consideration)

 

  1. Club Soccer
  • The group has been using the soccer field (utilized by varsity athletics) without permission.
    • The Student Senate could be held liable for any damages that the group may incur.

 

  1. Amend Elections Procedure Bill
    1. Change procedure to: Any voting member may nominate any undergraduate student, currently in good academic standing, for any office or elected position.
    2. Vote: (6-1-0)
