COMMITTEE DISCUSSION:

• Rhody Paws: (10am – 2pm, Wednesday, April 26^th)
  • Officially partnered with Health Services for their Stress Relief Day
    • In case of rain, a separate date on the quad will be booked
  • Email sent to dog handlers. Confirmation email will need to be sent out closer to the date.
    • Risk management and access to the quad will need to be communicated with URI
    • Reach out to Puppy Raisers
  • Additional things:
    • Make puppy chow (or some other kind of treats)
    • Collect donations for Guiding Eyes for the Blind
    • Counseling Center information to distribute
    • Possibly get some fun things to do (can-jam, various lawn games, etc.)
    • Try to coordinate Hot Dog truck

 

• Future of Cultural Committee
  • Increase focus on campus improvements (counseling center, disability services, LGBT Center, etc.)
  • Partner with Student orgs for events
  • Bring TED Talks to Campus!
  • THON (Penn State, UDelaware)
    • Raise lots of money for charity
