- Finished today and it looks like all went well
- Their report is located online for people to search for
Library Liaison
- Vice-Chair Morabito has completed the first step of the three step process of being certified to work the laser engraver
- It was also reported that the Maker’s_Space also has a wikipedia page describing the equipment that is available to students
- Hours need to put online, certification requirements should be online, take instructions off of wikipedia because anyone can change that
Other Liaisons
- Submit your monthly reports to Chairman Temple, CIO Taylor, and Coordinator Yip
- Send a heads up if there are any problems
Indigenous People’s Day
- Chairman Temple is sending emails to gain more information before going to faculty
- They have not been the most helpful as of now
- More research is needed
- Faculty Senate in November is the goal date
Faculty Senate Constitution
- Giving Academic some power on the floor of the Faculty Senate
- Committee consensus to give the power to the Academic Affairs Chair instead of any designee
Academic Bylaws
- We want to meet before Bylaws Committee goes over the committee section of the bylaws in order to discuss what we would want to with our bylaws
Book Store Survey
- The bookstore is sending a representative either next week or the week after in regards to our input on surveys
- Affordability of the bookstore and the use of the bookstore as a resource
Nursing
- Trouble meeting with the Dean’s assistant for the month of October
- No feedback on email that Senator Needle sent the College of Nursing
- Let Chairman Temple know if there are an problems
Attendance Policies
- Nothing we can officially change because otherwise it would violate academic freedom
- Instead of getting rid of attendance policies instead go against those that force students to buy programs just to take attendance
