• No committee next week
  • Instead faculty senate is at 3:30 at the new Chemistry Building
  • They are going to introduce a change to the academic calendar but have not elaborated
  • The agenda will likely be up on Tuesday
• Meeting with the PROVOST
  • A new testing center has been put in Chaffee
    • It will be used for people who need additional time and space for testing
    • If students need special accommodations, especially during finals they now should have the space to satisfy them
    • Provost are paying for the faculty there
    • The library is also working on adding a testing center
• Library hours
  • Library hours bill is on the floor tonight at the general senate meeting
• Chairwoman Garcia will try to speak at Faculty Senate in March regarding OER
• Election Days Memo
  • Written but it needs to be workshopped
  • Need to add an amendment about showing proof of taking part in the election
  • Need to add a sentence about the day following election days
• Academic bylaws change
  • Senator Russo as an OMBUD rep has information on how we look into academic complaints so we will use her info for the change
  • A workshop regarding the current state of the Academic Affairs committee’s bylaws will be held in the near future
