TOPIC 1: Faculty Senate

• Approved the changes
  • Reading days no longer have to be on weekdays, they can be on weekends
  • Starting in Fall 2020 we will move from a 7-day finals schedule to a 6-day final schedule and we will continue to try to shorten it
  • We have Election Day and Veteran’s Day Off
  • We have Columbus Day Classes, Wednesday before Thanksgiving Classes
  • Saturday Final Exams in 2020
  • We have a bunch of new courses in music, business, etc.
• Working on Indigenous People’s, Plastic on Campus, Parking, Organization Culture, etc. in the future

TOPIC 2: Academic Chair

• Is anyone interested in the position, position of vice-chair, involvement in academic or taking on any projects, etc.
