Academic Affairs Committee- April 16, 2014

Survey

-Next steps is to create a poll for the student body similar to the one used in the focus group

-Possible used survey monkey, google docs, Facebook tab

-How many people we want to survey? 200 is the minimum. 650 is the goal.

-To implement this semester.

-Target big lectures, seniors, booth in the union

-Is there an evaluation form for advising at Roosevelt? We will check and use that feedback

-Katherin will create a survey monkey with the focus group question.

Syllabus

-Professors can change syllabus at point of the semester

 

AEC

-Vanessa will met with the director on AEC about mentoring/tutoring over summer sessions.

-Looking at J-term mentoring/tutoring in the future

-What incentives are needed?
