DISCUSSION:

TOPIC 1: Indigenous People’s Day

• Issue is mostly towards exec but started in academic
  • “Day Off/ Holiday” in place of “Columbus Day”
  • Write a letter to the state house to state our position

TOPIC 2: Affordable Course Materials

• Videos made don’t know what they did with them
• Try to get a course of action

TOPIC 3: Interdisciplinary Major Program

• Try to make it more student focused and reach outside of the committee

TOPIC 4: finals gift baskets

• Other universities have these around finals
• Maybe get a sponsor or help from rhody outpost
• Staples donations?
• Bookstore gift cards or other donations?

TOPIC 5: Academic booth

• Spin a wheel, answer a question, learn about academic, win a small. Thing (probs candy)
