HRL Report: Chair Gall met with Director Minor today. They talked about ADA and dorms

Degnan: Why are study rooms a priority? That makes no sense.

Lantagne: What is the process to get a bond question put on the ballot?

Menard: It has to be approved by the legislature.

Lantagne: We should look into getting one for ADA improvements.

Rumas: While I agree with that, it does bother me that we would use state funds to build something the university should have built in the first place.

Tuition Raise

Rumas: If we are going to raise tuition, I would really like to see a report, and if one isn’t available, we should call for an audit or report (through academic or campus) on why exactly the administration is raising tuition.

Lantagne: especially because they are raising in-state tuition more

Wants banners hanging alongside Upper College Road to be more reflective of URI student demographics.
