• Ace of Cakes:
  • Success!!
  • What to do for next year:
    • Try to prevent late cancellations or teams that just don’t show up.
      • Security deposit? Punish teams that didn’t show up in the future?
      • Performances went pretty well – possibly include next year
    • Feedback form:
      • Received 3 responses
        • Amount of time to find out winners was too long (40 mins)
        • Most enjoyed the event! Would tell their friends!
      • Accessibility Challenge:
        • School in New York:
          • Teams of 5
          • $15 to participate
          • Accessibility scavenger hunt
          • Money went to new handicap signs
        • Research on other schools’ Disability Services:
          • Closed captioning
          • Transportation (shuttles on hilly campuses)
          • Sidewalk measurements
          • Committees dealing with disability and accessibility issues
          • Alternative class environments for deaf and hearing impaired students
        • RIC:
          • General meeting to go over intentions and what they hoped to gain
          • Divided into groups by different abilities
            • Gave note to professors explaining what the event was
          • At the end of the day students summarized their normal day with accessibility issues
          • URI reached out to RIC but hasn’t heard back
        • Send Brittany further research
          • She will meet with Health Services to discuss the event
        • Rhody Paws:
          • Brittany reached out to Health Services to see if they would like to partner Rhody Paws/Stress Relief Day on the Quad
            • Will book quad if we don’t hear back
          • Will reach out to Counseling Center for information to give to students at the event
            • Add a mental health element
          • Make puppy chow? (Include an interactive element)
