RHODY PAWS

• Went very well, thank you John, Sara, and Garrett for helping out
• People seemed to love the dogs

 

FALL FEST

• During Homecoming Week (week of October 10th)
• Cultural Committee has tradition of giving out caramel apples, painting pumpkins
• In the past, there’s been a Food Drive…good idea!
• Can bring donations to Rhody Outpost or Johnnycake Center
• Maybe both?

 

FOOD DRIVE WITH PARKING SERVICES

• Article on university program that had students, instead of paying parking tickets with money, donate that much money in food donations (ie. instead of paying an $80 ticket, donating $80 worth of food)
• What do we think?
• Good idea, logistics would have to be worked out with parking services
• Issue of people not paying tickets as well

CULTURAL COMPLAINT FOR MENTAL HEALTH

• More of a SOARC issue than a cultural issue
• People are using the drop box, which is good
• The issue does deal with mental health of students, so Lexi and Jenny will be working together to resolve the issue within the club
• Jenny is going to talk to Carl about her status as a mandated reporter through role of chairperson
