  • SOARC – Chairwoman King
    • Assigned committee members groups for rerec.
    • Rerec ongoing, committee members contacting respective groups
    • Bill going on the floor Wednesday. Amending student senate voting procedure. Want groups to be able to be more eligible for receiving stipends if needed.
  • Finance – Chairman Buck
    • Finance Handbook revisions
      • Discussed clause on promotional gifts for club events
    • Amending fencing bill so club is paying $750 for old purchases.
  • External – Chairman Donnelly
    • Events going on as planned
    • Please help spread the word
  • Campus – Chairwoman Boutmy
    • Tomorrow is resource day with P.L.E.A.S.E which will highlight important on and off campus resources
    • All-encompassing sex week, working on this with the women’s center
    • Continued discussion about blue light effectiveness during a campus blackout. Call buttons still work but lights don’t flash.
  • Academic – Chairwoman Garcia
    • Attended Faculty Senate with Cody this year. Very conversation based and welcoming.
    • Going to be drafting a new memo for faculty this week
    • Enrollment services responded on student employment
  • Treasurer Stikeman
    • Stipends out tomorrow
    • Try to avoid spending a lot of money on expensive supplies
  • CIO Inkley
    • Bylaws quiz going out
  • VP Montecalvo
    • Working on senate retreat with SOLC
      • Possible date: October 16th
    • Working on scheduling one-on-ones with senators in next week
  • President Anderson
    • Kathy couldn’t meet last Friday
    • Sat in the Big Ideas forum over the weekend
      • Went to Tibbit’s lighting ceremony – renaming it North Campus Recreational Complex
    • Talked about Masterfile
  • Elections – Chairwoman King
    • Finished word cloud for elections advertising push
  • Cultural – Chairwoman Kraft
    • Attended “Every 20 Hours” with Chairwoman Garcia recently
    • Chairwoman Garcia will be one of the Play writers
