DISCUSSION:
- Mary Jo will send letter from town – evidence for a lawsuit
o FIND VIDEO – important evidence
- Zawatsky & Kilduff – talking to econ professor, want him to get an economic analysis of students effect on Narragansett
o Where are they economically weakest
o How effective would a boycott be, what would happen to the town financially
- Boycott – liquor stores, gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants
o Plan alternative places so people can easily get on board (e.g Shaws vs. Stop & Shop)
o Students need to want to participate
o Advertise External meeting times so non-senators can come and share ideas/support
o Branching out to SAA and other student groups, presence / announcement at their meetings
o Ad in Cigar
o SPREAD THE WORD
- 3 council members are running again, including President of council running for state office
o James Callahan wants state-level senate: district 35
o Susan Cicilline-Buonanno & Matthew Mannix seeking re-ellection
- Research opposing candidates AND the 3 council members
- Voter registration – absentee ballots
