Brittany Dobryznski wants external committee to write thank you letters to all vendors that attended the carnival

Narragansett Partnership come and talk to us next week (April 22nd) about living rights in Narragansett, topics include alcohol prevention and substance abuse. Goal as external chair to create a better image for students living in Narragansett, getting us involved in the community and create a more positive image. It would be great to get involved with the Narragansett Partnership.

Coordinator for commuter housing, need to get in contact with her. Katrina wants us to have another commuter carnival in the Fall. Thinking Fall Festival during commuter appreciation week. Thinking about having another free coffee day for commuters.

Narragansett Town council meeting every other Monday 7pm, use common courtesy at meetings, rumors are they are rude to University of Rhode Island Students.

Stafford aka Federal Interest Rate loans will increase because they are going to expire. Freeze on interest rates it is going to double over the summer. Contact the senator’s office and see if we can write a letter to stop this again.

Carbon Monoxide detectors landlords and realtors are supposed to have at least one of these detectors in their house(s). Look into this. Look into the laws landlords are supposed to follow.

Recycling started to begin in Narragansett. Not the whole town but some of the town has bins available.

Several Individuals have not picked up their prizes from the carnival we just held. We are going to email them again to come by and pick them up.
