COMMITTEE DISCUSSION:
- Ball Room Dance
- Contingency Grant for a competing team in different styles of dancing. Competition was $400 and we are paying for half, $200.
- They are just looking for money for registration, they funded for all other expenses of the event

- Musician’s Guild
- Looking to fund for bigger bands to attend a large show to grow interest in different fields of music throughout the community. Plan is $1 for URI students and $7-$10 for outside. Max around 125 people. Hoping for 4 bands to attend event. Event to be held in the Atrium. Not sure on Security because of location. Pay at door for event.
- Band 1 – $850, Band 2 – $250, Band 3 and 4 – $150. Total: $1,250.00
- Not registered with the SEA Office yet, so they will figure out Security, Tickets, Location, and Drafts for Contracts of the Bands for next Friday
- Student Action for Sustainability
- Co-Sponsoring a Zero Waste Event with Muslim Student Association! Topic for this event is based on how Islam is considerate towards the environment and it will be educational for the environmental side and also culture. The event will have
- Only problem that the group ran into is that they could not find biodegradable table cloths, so they are looking for table clothes for the event. Dining services can provide the clothes, from an outside vendor because they are not providing the food for the event as well.
