Powerlifting – President Tommy

 

The group is coming to finance to ask for money for registration for the 2016 USAPL New England Open in Johnston R.I. December 3rd & 4th. Each registration fee is $80.00. The group also is looking for funding for 26 USAPL memberships (Valid for 1 Year). The total cost is $4,500 and finance can cover half. However, the group has already budgeted money in their Registration line that they will use.

 

Alpine Ski Team- Secretary Kyle

 

The group is asking for a 2,000 contingency grant to help pay for the yearly training trip. It usually costs $15,000 and this year we had budgeted $5,000. The group had raised their dues in hopes that numbers stay the same. 23 returners 10 new members. The team has increased in size, which is why they need the increase in funding. The group has gone to this every year at Sugarbush. They get great training, time trial experience, Dues are $700.

The group wants to get jackets, and the extra money in their dues for jackets for the new members.

Over discussion at great length, we have decided to give the group 2,000.

Student Senate- Ryan Buck

The student senate is requesting money for a table cloth. The student senate has a soiled table cloth that cannot be used for welcome days, elections and senate booths. The new cloth is $325.
