Surf Club

• Huey Mac Event
• Moved from Quad to Sigma Pi
• Moved from Sigma Pi to Amalfi’s at the last minute
• We do not fund events off campus
• Consequences
• Executive Committee decided Contingency probation for Surf Club for the rest of the year
• Financial or legal litigation and consequences are possible against the group & officers
• Budgets revoked
• only $100 dollars recouped of the total grant
• Probably won’t pursue litigation

 

SAWA – World AIDS Week

• Needs an additional $160 because of a mixup in the cost of the photoshoot
• Committee can approve up to $500
• But this with the earlier numbers will bring it above $500
• We can approve it in committee by holding off on the finance procedures as defined by the Finance Handbook
• If we bring it to the floor, it will need immediate consideration
• Costs
• Banner will cost $350 all together at the end
• 2 Flier designs for $50 each
• 1 for the Week and 1 for the main event : Benefit concert
• Passed: 6-1-0
