Quidditch Club:

• Quidditch club came in and asked for a transfer out of their Registration account as the group has decided to no longer go to the regional tournament. They have not received funding for new equipment since 2010 and the group would like to apply their registration fees to get some new equipment, including an updated med kit that would fit the groups needs.

Muslim Students Association:

• They have their huge Eid banquet Friday October 8, 2016 in the Memorial Union Ball Room. This year their budget was cut by 250$, however they are bringing Omer Bajwa, a native speaker to the event. They are looking into seeing if the MSSC can help fund their event. The price of the food has gone up since last year. They are asking for an additional $500 to fund their event.

Fencing:

• In the Spring of 2015, fencing was given money for new equipment, however the money never reached/was transferred to the vendor. Our budget was audited over the summer and there was nothing that looked out of line. Now, we must re-fund the equipment (Reel and Box set, Pads and Gear). Senate did not lose any money and the group received their gear, but the vendor has resent the bill to tie up loose ends. The company claimed to try to contact the group many times, however the group had an old email. On a positive note, we now have figured it out with the vendor with no repercussions, we just have to pay for what we had originally bought.
