COMMITTEE DISCUSSION:

• preparation for the year ◦ Finance Handbook

▪ overview of handbook revision process

◦ prior finance documents available for reading through Senate Office

◦ finance committee members will be assigned emails and given transition binders

• request for copy of Gaming Club contingency grant to be given to Gaming Club Treasurer Patrick Feeney
• discussion of whether to have affiliates under the Senate’s budget

◦ recap of recent events with SOLC

• arrival of Good Five Cent Cigar members

◦ each stipended position was allocated 9 months of funds, but only 8 months are necessary

▪ plan to use these extra funds to fund new stipended position
