COMMITTEE DISCUSSION:

 

1. Love Your Melon
   1. Who attended: President
   2. Meeting time and place: bi-monthly (every other week) Wednesday at 4 PM
   3. Members – 20
   4. Elections held to our standards: No, happened in only one meeting.
   5. Purpose: raise awareness for pediatric cancer. Minimum of 10 members, max of 20.  Waitlist for anyone more than the 20 people.
   6. Goals: Buy a hat online and a child battling cancer is given a hat for free. Hasbro children’s hospital visit.
   7. RECOMMENDATION: Treat election as first week of elections. Reopen nominations at next meeting and held elections

  • May have emergence meetings on other days of the week
    • Does not require attendance
    • Requires quorum (currently 5 members)
  • Meetings should take place before the end of the semester
    • Must occur before budgeting next semester
  • Making a checklist of what is expected of each stipended position
    • Only interviewing one position at a time
      • If multiple people occupy the same position in the groups, multiple people from the position may attend to defend the position
