COMMITTEE DISCUSSION:

 

• NASO
  • Goal: Native American related events. Native American cultural awareness. Do a couple events in the spring. Events include Native American cultural dance competition and a Storytelling event.
  • Members: 17-20
  • Meeting: Taft hall, every Thursday 7:30
  • Elections: Held to standards
  • Recommendation: Offering recommendation on the 4th because they are still recognized under Student Senate.
• Health sciences advisory committee
  • Goal: Coordinate philanthropic events. Works to have each major without the college have an equal voice.
  • Members: 16 undergraduate degree members, 2 associate degree members
  • Meeting: once a month in Quinn Hall.
  • Elections: Haven’t done yet
  • Action: Must conduct elections prior to recommendation
• Become the Flow
  • Goal: Relaxing outlet for students. To push “flow state” there are multiple different activities including juggling, tight roping, music, etc.
  • Members: 200+ undergraduate, 295 associate
  • Meeting: No specific meeting time
  • Elections: Held to standards
  • Action: Need to verify the number of members prior to recommendation
