- Student Senate
- Treasurer
- Works with the senate’s internal budged including the SOLC expenses line. Does 3 office hours a week. Pays office and other expenses. Record internal accounts on a monthly basis and prepares for future budgeting based on previous spending. Presents and prepares the internal budget. Consults with the president when funding internal events/etc. Holds signatory powers with the president. Prepares budgets to present to the finance chair for annual budgeting. Differs from the finance chair by handling internal accounts rather than funding for other groups. The powers of the treasurer must be separate from the finance chair to maintain the separation of powers.

- Campus Affairs Chair
- Works with student’s rights, campus parking, student employment, health and safety, and athletics. In addition, looked at campus climate issues. Previous events include the Consent Required campaign. Hosts the Safety and Lighting Walk to check for adequate lighting, safety, and that the emergency call boxes are in good order. Holds 3 office hours weekly. Handles the campus complaints box and a RIPTA complaints box and addresses any outstanding issues. Chair sits on university committees to be aware of living conditions and changes in conditions. Meets with university directors to address campus issues. The committee is a place for students to air their complaints about campus rights without taking them directly to the university. Dealt with student’s rights and met with URI police. Help students understand the resources they have on campus. Helped get camera’s in dorm buildings to give students a sense of security and provide evidence of assaults and thefts. The position is important to handle student issues; the president of senate handles university issues.

- Director of Communications
- Runs all student senate social media accounts. Drafts the monthly newsletter. Talks to the Good 5 Cent Cigar to address inaccuracies in their reporting of the senate report. 3 office hours weekly. Goes around events taking photographs to advertise events. Promotes student senate and student groups. Creates an approachable image of the student senate to the student body at large. In the future, create senate blog posts and give a monthly report of things done in senate.
