Data artist Laurie Frick explores the bumpy future of data captured about us. Humans are shifting from mysterious beings to big data algorithms. Frick creates physical works and large-scale installations that imagine this completely wired “data-selfie” future. Frick holds an M.F.A. from the New York Studio School, an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California, and studied at New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program.
