On April 5th, we welcomed URI alumni from the Writing & Rhetoric Department and Film/Media Program, who came to offer advice to current students. Panelists spoke about the importance of analytical and problem-solving skills gained in the course of their degrees. The alumni are working in public relations, brand development, non-profit foundations, film production, and more. The students came away with a renewed sense of purpose and a plan to build on their current networks. It was great to have so many writers in one room!
