Student Advising

The URI Criminology and Criminal Justice department is committed to individual, personalized consultation with each of our majors and with any students considering becoming a major.

Faculty members are available before or after class and during office hours, or even for an impromptu meeting while passing in the hallways. However, we urge our students to make time to see their advisors on a regular basis. We believe ongoing contact between student and advisor adds to the advisor’s personal knowledge of the student’s interests, which can make a student’s time at URI more rewarding.

Various forms, including those for off-campus study and courses taken at other institutions, change of major, intent to graduate, among others, can be found on the College of Arts and Sciences site.
