Where to go from here? How about “tsunami outreach coordinator”? For graduateDarci Connor this seemed like the perfect job! The Rhode Island native now resides in Seaside, Oregon, making the most of her Environmental Science and Management degree by finding “the most effective ways to teach people about tsunamis”.
A recent graduate and past Coastal Fellow, Jason Heyler, is currently working on the biotic index for coral reef analysis at the EPA laboratories. Graduating with both a degree in Biology and Coastal and Marine Policy, Jason will be heading to graduate school sometime in the future to continue his education.
Adam Zitello, a former Coastal Fellow, was awarded the Udall Scholarship in the summer of 2004! It is an outstanding national honor given to students who have demonstrated their exemplary work for the environment.
