The award of $497,888 is for the Federal Fiscal year October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017. The funding supports the RI Developmental Disabilities Council in their work identifying the most pressing needs of people with developmental disabilities in RI. The Council is committed to advancing public policy and systems change that help these individuals gain more control over their lives. Activities include advocacy, systems change, and capacity building to promote self-determination, integration, and inclusion.
