Nursing, B.S.

The B.S. program in nursing prepares you to become a professional nurse, eligible to take the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). You will be eligible for an entry level position in medical, surgical, geriatric, maternity, pediatric, psychiatric-mental health or community nursing in a variety of settings: hospitals, home health care, clinics, community health agencies, hospices or the armed services.

Major Entry Requirements

  • Complete an overall GPA of at least 3.00
  • Complete BIO 220,221, 222,223; CHM 103 and 124; NUR 100; WRT 104 or 106 and earn a grade of at least C in each course
  • Complete URI 101
