Each student is assigned to one or more professional and/or faculty advisors, who are the experts that guide you through your undergraduate experience at URI. In addition, the success centers in the Fannon Institute for Student Success (FISS) provide you with the support you need to transition to college life and connect your major with career and life goals.
Your Success Network
Your success network includes your academic advisor and your career education specialist. Academic advisors provide guidance on what courses you’ll need to take to keep you on track as you find, and pursue, your major. Career education specialists introduce you to career pathways and offer strategies to achieve your career goals.
