The conference is planned as a primarily in-person event. The planning committee has arranged hotel room reservations in Holiday Inn at special rates for the conference attendees. APS has two blocks of rooms reserved at Holiday Inn. Please go to the link below to book reserved hotel rooms for your visit.

Parking information
Parking at the Kingston Campus is available to registered attendees. All cars must be registered with URI’s Public Safety- Transportation & Parking to avoid ticketing. Event parking is available at “85 Briar Ln Parking”. Follow the signs to the meeting locations.

- Click on Event Permits and agree to the terms of service
- Click on Physics
- Click on APS Meeting Oct 20-21, 2023
- Voucher code is APS23! (very important to include this for the free permit)
- Click APS Meeting Oct 20-21, 2023 again
- Click Fine Arts South
- Click Add Vehicle on left-hand side
- Complete vehicle information (state is very important here because the system defaults to RI)
- Click Add on the right-hand side
- Click Continue in red on the right-hand side (enter will not work)
- On the next page, enter your email and click checkout
