Cultivating a Relationship Rich Environment around Teaching

Developing a sense of belonging is important for instructors. The purpose behind this outcome is to encourage programming which helps instructors connect with one another and/or with students. We want to cultivate solidarity among instructors around teaching which is informed by research-based approaches. We want instructors to feel like they matter and that others are invested in their success and that they are invested in the success of others.

This workshop is for instructors who are new to URI and want to launch a successful – inclusive and effective – teaching career at URI.
