The Student Learning Outcomes Assessment and Accreditation (SLOAA) team promotes student success, improved learning, and continuous program improvement through program-level outcomes assessment and curricular innovation.

We support URI’s commitment to evidence-informed assessment, reflection, and continuous improvement processes that enhance student achievement through collaboration, education, and outreach.

Announcements and Upcoming Events

Beginning with the 2026-2027 academic year, all undergraduate academic programs will participate in a three-year academic program assessment cycle.
Department chairs for programs in the May 2027 assessment cohort will be invited to meet with our office during September 2026.
Department chairs for programs in the May 2028 assessment cohort will be invited to meet with our office during October 2026.

The cycle includes all undergraduate programs previously supported through our assessment process, as well as newly established and revised academic programs identified during the review and planning process.
