A Three-Step Guide for URI Instructors
Generative AI has made the development of clear academic-integrity expectations more important. Faculty can reduce uncertainty for students by:
- Setting clear expectations for your students in multiple formats before the work begins.
- Talk with your students and repeat your expectations throughout the course.
- Address any concern(s) when it/they arises and follow the process using URI’s established Academic Honesty Procedures whenever issues arise.
