Biography

Susan Langford joined the University of Rhode Island as a 20-year veteran of the hospitality industry where she held many different leadership roles in both sales and  operations within the hotel brands Marriott, Hilton and IHG. In addition to her hotel management roles, Susan also worked as a Task Force General Manager. This unique experience allowed her to mentor, train and support a diverse range of employees while providing exceptional customer service to both leisure and corporate travelers from around the world.

Susan brings her extensive experience and passion for helping people to the Student Contact Support Center at URI Online where she builds relationships with prospective, new and current students to assist them with their higher education experience from inquiry through graduation. Susan looks forward each day to ensuring students have a positive and rewarding URI experience from beginning to end.
