Biography
Dr. Chris Thawley is an evolutionary ecologist who received his PhD in Ecology from Penn State University. He has taught at Davidson College and Neumann University and is interested working with students from all backgrounds to explore how biology and thinking scientifically help us understand ourselves and our world. Chris studies how different aspects of global change affect species’ ecology and conducted postdoctoral research into the effects of artificial light at night on lizards at URI. In his free time, Chris enjoys baking, hiking, and playing Ultimate Frisbee.
