Career Journey

You may have noticed that my undergraduate degree has nothing to do with my current role, which is the story I like to share with my students: career paths are not linear. Trying different roles and networking lead me into being a Career Education Specialist, along with my passion of helping others. My favorite experience in undergrad was traveling to Greece for study abroad – it was the most impactful experience of my college degree. If you ask me if you should do study abroad, my answer will always be yes! It will be rare to have the chance to travel internationally for a month once you start in a professional career.

When not supporting career and experiential education at URI, you will find me: Taking a yoga class with CorePower Yoga. I’m working to become a Yoga Sculpt instructor!
Being a Mom to 2 wonderful kids, and 2 handsome puppies.

What Strength, Value, or Personality trait do you identify with most and why? Input: I love to be an expert in the areas I’m working in, and am genuinely curious about most things.
