Career Journey

I have a strong passion in helping others navigate and succeed in higher education. Being a first-generation student, I understand some of the challenges faced and want to support students through their process here at the university. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I have worked with middle and high school students in Providence, RI with the college application process, future planning and I also taught a literacy class. I am currently a graduate assistant for the Academic Enhancement Center and Diversity Dialogues.

When I am not supporting career and experiential education at URI you will find me: out at a restaurant with my family and friends. I love to enjoy good food with good company.

What Strength, Value, or Personality trait do you identify with most and why? I value determination and hard work. I believe with determination and hard work you can overcome any obstacle and reach your goals.
