Join the Center for Career and Experiential Education for our 2nd Annual Professional Development Week, November 6-10, 2017!
Students & Alumni
All URI undergraduate and graduate students, as well as alumni, are welcome to attend the workshops below. Certain workshops are noted as specific to career clusters to provide up to date industry related information.
Not sure how to write your resume, or what to include? What about LinkedIn – do you need one (psst: the answer is yes, and that workshop is on Thursday). Most events take place in the Memorial Union and are an hour long. Don’t have time to attend a session? Drop by the Union booths on the 1st floor for a resume review, or the 3rd floor for interviewing practice.
All events are completely free to take part in and are open to students through all years at URI. Space is limited and registration is encouraged. Please register by logging into RhodyNet and visiting the CCEE Events & Workshops tab.
We look forward to seeing you!
Join us in educating today’s URI students as they prepare to take the next steps in their careers. If you would like to co-present on a topic during Professional Development Week or you are interested in being a sponsor, please visit RhodyNet or contact Ashley Foley, firstname.lastname@example.org.
To register for the Fall Career and Internship Fair on Wednesday, November 8 please visit RhodyNet or contact Carolyn Thomas, email@example.com.
Most events will take place at Memorial Union at the center of URI’s campus. All parking is located at our Visitor Center. Please stop at the Visitor’s Center to receive a parking pass to park in the Visitor Lot.
(Note: Events beginning after 4PM do not need a parking pass; proceed directly to the Visitor’s Lot).
Memorial Union is located at the bottom of URI’s quad. Please see our campus map to navigate our beautiful campus.
