With aging populations, rising mental health needs, and complex public health issues, the need for an adaptable workforce with practical experience is essential. The College of Health Sciences is preparing skilled professionals to tackle these issues through classroom education and hands-on training, such as internships. Thanks to the support of generous donors, the College of Health Sciences is excited to provide financial support for student internships, ensuring that every student has access to real-world, applied learning. When students connect classroom knowledge with professional practice, they graduate ready to make a positive impact in Rhode Island and beyond.
