“I am a triple major, studying English, Chinese, and Education who loves the arts and is constantly found reading and writing. I found my passion as a young girl learning English. I was taught the language through reading and fell in love with literature then. Since that moment, I have constantly been in search of expressing myself through writing and discovering more knowledge through books. My teachers at URI have challenged me and pushed me to reach excellence which is something that I will carry with me even beyond URI. Overall, my experiences with the College of Arts and Sciences have been positive, encouraging, and inspiring!”

Dina was selected by the college because she has been a consistently stellar student. She currently has a 3.91 GPA and has been nominated for and awarded scholarships by several members of the English faculty.
