Luisa Santos

Luisa is a Dietetics and Health Studies double major who embodies the spirit of the College of Health Sciences in her desire to promote healthy living and wellness across the lifespan. From her involvement in the Global Health trip to Indonesia in January 2020, to her role on the Health Sciences Undergraduate Student Council, she has taken advantage of a myriad co-curricular activities. Luisa has excelled in the classroom as well, using her time at URI to complete a rigorous schedule of public health and dietetics coursework, in addition to being a Spanish translator and outreach specialist for SNAP-Ed, a research and development intern at Blount Fine Foods, and a research assistant for Project StRIde. The College of Health Sciences is proud to have Luisa included in the ranks of our soon-to-be alumni promoting health and wellness in her community and beyond.
