Melissa Sosa is an outstanding student who represents the Nursing in the best possible light. An active member in the Pathways program, she also served as a Nursing Ambassador, a member of the Undergraduate Advisory Committee, a student worker in the Nursing office, and a student nurse at RI Hospital. She is a third-year undergraduate research fellow and has represented the CON at the annual ENRS conference.

An honors student who is completing research examining first-generation college students’ experiences with stress, alcohol use and overall health, Melissa is a compassionate and kind person who is passionately committed to bringing the best possible evidence-based care to all.
