Evan is well known and respected by his peers as a leader, friend, and overall good citizen. He resurrected the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) “Mini Baja” competition group by seeking faculty support, actively involving his peers and encouraging new and prospective students. He demonstrated the importance of getting involved outside the classroom and the positive impact those connections can have on academic success. Especially given the state of the world, Evan is surely looking ahead to the challenges he can solve in service to others.
