In-person Ceremony Ticketing
- Each graduate will now be permitted to bring up to a maximum of two guests to their ceremony.
- Registered graduates should have received an email from URI Commencement Ticketing (updates@theryancentervip.fan-one.com) with details regarding the ticketing process. Electronic tickets for guests, will be available, beginning Tuesday, May 11th at 10:00 AM.
- For questions regarding guest tickets, please text “Rhody” to 401-874-7267, email tickets@theryancenter.com or call 401-874-RAMS. Please Note: The ticket office is open Monday to Friday 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Tickets will be non-transferable and may not be sold.
- Each guest, regardless of age, will need to have a unique mobile ticket which will also be used for contact tracing.
- The stadium will open for guest seating beginning 90 minutes before the 10 a.m. ceremonies and 60 minutes before the 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. ceremonies.
- Guests will be required to wear face coverings while on campus and in Meade Stadium, and to practice social distancing. Guests must maintain appropriate physical distance from other attendees.
In-person Ceremony Registration
- All eligible graduates in the Class of 2021 should have pre-registered by April 1, 2021, in order to participate in in-person ceremonies (an email, with registration link, was sent on March 24, 2021). Please reach out to your college Dean’s Office with any questions or concerns.
- 2021 graduates who have completed requirements for more than one college, can participate in more than one in-person ceremony. Separate registrations will need to be completed for each college ceremony.
COVID-19 Testing Requirements
- Following updated guidelines, all faculty, staff graduates and their guests will NOT be required to show proof of vaccination or negative test prior to attending their in-person ceremony.
