Biography

Fatima Tobar is a graduate from the University of Rhode Island where she received a dual degree in Nutrition and Psychology from the College of Health Sciences. Fatima started working with SNAP-Ed in 2014 during her undergraduate degree. She uses her bilingual skills to provide nutrition education to both the English and Spanish speaking populations to encourage a healthier lifestyle. When Fatima is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants, and listening to live music.
