Biography

Ruthann is a registered dietitian who began her work in community nutrition for SNAP-Ed in 2008 while in her undergraduate program at URI. She went on to work for EFNEP as a graduate research assistant between 2010 and 2012. Ruthann took a hiatus from community nutrition to work as a clinical dietitian at Rhode Island Hospital for 8.5 years where she covered medical/surgical patients and specialized in diabetes care. She has now made her return to EFNEP as a manager. Outside of the office, Ruthann is a mother to a rambunctious toddler and a lover of houseplants, gardening, crafts, and home improvement projects.
